Hello Car Dealers!
In today’s full-game update, we’ve introduced a new type of events that can appear during regular gameplay.
You’ll be notified about new events through the mail app. A client will send you a message containing the details of the job, along with the option to accept or decline it.
You’ll have a limited amount of time to complete each job. Here’s the list of new activities:
- Refueling a Client’s Car - sometimes, you just end up stranded on the side of the road because… you ran out of fuel. With a few fuel canisters, you can now come to the rescue and help the residents of the town.
- Delivering a New Car to Someone Injured in an Accident - as a car dealer, you can now help someone in need while also getting rid of one of the vehicles sitting on your lot. Of course, not for free!
- Unlocking Locked Cars - you can purchase lockpicks at the pawn shop and use them to unlock a client’s locked car.
- “Helping” with Vehicle Sales - some of the more “clever” residents of the town know exactly how to increase a car’s selling price. Some of them will contact you asking for help with “rejuvenating” their vehicle and changing the mileage shown on its odometer.
Additionally, if you own the Up 2 You DLC:
- Delivering Race-Ready Vehicles - some racing enthusiasts will contact you asking for vehicles prepared and ready to take part in a race.
- Helping Losers of Pink Slip Races - this type of race puts everything on the line. Unfortunately, there are two sides to every coin - lose the race… and you’re walking home. Help the losers get back home by selling them one of your vehicles.
All events have been designed so that you’ll be able to fully complete the tasks they offer. That’s why they’ll appear at appropriate points in your progression - as you gain Reputation and Fame levels and upgrade your workshop.
Completing some of these jobs will also grant you temporary bonuses that last for several in-game days. These can include reduced fuel consumption or an increased chance of finding a safe in the trunk of a purchased vehicle.
