Hello everyone! The brand-new Pawsome Resort update comes with new wild and domestic pets alongside character customization options! We’re hard at work fixing bugs and implementing your feedback. The character customization was one of the most requested features. As we complete the July 2026 milestone on our roadmap, the horizon is full of new features like home expansion, new NPCs and customers, animal interactions, and decoration items. Let’s take deep dive into what the new update brings to the game.
A feature that must have been in the game long before early access, character customization options now let you change your character’s hair, beard, outfit, shoes, and more. Sorry for the delay and thanks for all the fish!
Since you take care of some of the wildest members of the animal kingdom, why not adopt some of them?
Alongside our feline and canine friends, you can now adopt the pets below to accompany you throughout journey across Pawsome Resort’s Pebble Town.

Fishing Traps are now available, allowing you to automate part of your fishing routine. Set them up, come back later, and collect your catch with less manual work.
Keeping track of your caretaker creature is now easier than ever. Caretaker creature now has an information panel where you can see how much food they're currently carrying.
Your watering can now holds more water, reducing the number of refill trips while taking care of your animals and crops.
Wondering who lives where? Simply hover over houses on the map to see their owners.
Several bridges across Pebble Town have been widened, making navigation smoother and more comfortable.
We've fixed numerous spots around the map where players could become stuck, making exploration much smoother.
We've fixed an issue where dropped loot could sometimes land in unreachable locations, making it impossible to pick up.
Thanks to your feedback, Pawsome Resort is now Playable on Steam Deck. Of course, we’re aiming to get the Deck Verified rating to make sure it plays perfectly well for our Steam Deck players.
