An update since the update

A round of polish is now live across Windows, macOS, and Linux — refinements to everything that landed in last week's big update, in time for the Steam summer sale.

20% off for three weeks. Everything is discounted except the two newest packs, Latin Roots and Italian Pareto 2, released too recently to make the discount deadline.

🎙️ Speech & pronunciation tools

  • Rebuilt the PiperTTS window (Ctrl+P) with a cleaner transport — Speak · Restart · Save — a focus-on-open fix so you can type immediately (no more clicking twice), and a built-in ? quick-guide.

  • The PiperTTS window and the Esperanto word analyzer (Ctrl+E) now ship as proper standalone launchers on Windows (.vbs) and macOS (.app).

  • Hardened clipboard paste in both tools — emoji-safe on all three platforms.

🌍 Esperanto pronunciation overhaul

  • Switched Esperanto to a native phonemizer — correct penultimate stress, no stray glide, and the o and e vowels corrected to their proper open-mid sound. Esperanto now sounds noticeably more natural, and is the default.

👤 Profiles, options & menus

  • Reworked Preferences hub, now per-profile — switch the active profile, change your master, and change language path all in one place.

  • Lessons submenu — re-enable any lessons you'd previously blocked, per pack or all at once.

  • Change Profile screen with a clean at-a-glance card for each hero, and Tab to cycle through your active packs.

  • Delete Profile — permanently remove a profile, with a type-the-name confirmation.

🏆 Achievements & combat

  • Combat victories now count consistently: Tier Skip Challenge wins are tallied alongside boss fights everywhere (revision fights excluded).

  • Crossing several milestones at once now pops a single badge per category instead of a stack of notifications.

  • Profile trajectory and drive readouts are now accurate, and best-streak now tracks the daily review correctly.

💾 Backups

  • Reworked profile backup — backing up now writes reliably to the vault and syncs across your machines via Steam Cloud, with no more spurious "cloud upload failed" prompt.

🐧 Platform & stability

  • Improved Linux compatibility, now built against the Steam Runtime for broad distro support.- Master Odiin..
