Update 1.55.0
Recall got its patience back, and the back door got a lock. The stand-still rule is down to three seconds and comes with a bar above your head, so nobody has to guess. Leaving a fight by closing the game is another story: your character now waits around for ten seconds, and so does whoever was hitting it.
You must update your client to log in. Close the game and the launcher, then reopen the launcher and press PLAY. On Steam the update is automatic.
New
- The minimap stays wherever you drop it, and rolling the mouse wheel over it makes it bigger or smaller.
- The Auction House shows the currency icon and name when you list, bid or buy. Listing an item for less gold than a shop would pay for it brings up a warning with that shop price, and asks you to tick a box before it goes through. The currency goes back to EVO Coins after every listing.
- The guild Members tab shows how long ago each offline member was last online.
- Group chats have a Members button: see who is in the group, how many are online and who owns it.
Changed
- A character that leaves the game without a completed logout stays in the world for 10 seconds, and can be attacked and killed during that time. This covers closing the window and a dropped connection alike. A logout counts as completed after 10 seconds without moving, attacking or being attacked. It does not apply on maps where nobody can attack, or to a character that is already dead.
- Recall needs 3 seconds without taking a step, down from 10.
- Only a hit from another player locks Recall for 10 seconds. Monster hits no longer lock it. Being paralyzed still does, for the same 10 seconds.
- Cast Recall before the wait is over and a bar appears above your head, visible to everyone. The spell is held until the bar turns green, and a click cancels the cast.
- The stand-still rule does not apply in your own city's home grounds. Aresden: Aresden Farm, Aresien Garden, Eternal Field and Silent Wood. Elvine: Elvine Farm, Eldiniel Garden, Rocky Highland and Death Valley.
- The Recall Scroll follows the same timings but has no bar: used too early, it refuses and is not spent.
- The Invisibility Scroll is unchanged: it still waits 10 seconds after any hit, from a player or a monster.
