Update 1.53.0
A dash is a promise to arrive, and from today it keeps it: you end right beside your target, ready for the next swing. Your storage learns to count, too, and anyone feeding on the same unlucky enemy all evening will find the well runs dry after the third kill.
You must update your client to log in. Close the game and the launcher, then reopen the launcher and press PLAY. On Steam the update is automatic.
New
- Clicking a stack in the Warehouse, the Shared Bank or the Guild Warehouse now asks how many to take out, with the full amount already typed in. A pile too heavy to carry at once can be withdrawn in parts.
- Withdrawing Shards or Fragments from the enchanting bag asks how many, too.
Changed
- Killing the same player over and over stops paying. You are rewarded for up to 3 kills of the same enemy within 30 minutes. Any further kill of that player inside that time gives you no Enemy Kill, no gold, no experience and no contribution, and you get a message saying so. They still pay the usual price for dying.
- Armor Break wears 25 durability off armor per hit, down from 80. It still strikes twice per cast, so a full cast goes from 160 to 50.
- Hammers knocking armor off a player now follow a gradual curve. A piece above 90% durability cannot be knocked off. Below that, the chance starts very small and grows as the piece wears down, reaching its maximum only when the piece is about to break: 50% per hit for the Giant Battle Hammer and the Barbarian Hammer, 40% for the Battle Hammer and 25% for every other hammer. With a Giant Battle Hammer that is about 1.4% at 75% durability, 10% at 50% and 22% at 30%. The +1 and +2 hammers use the same values as their base hammer.
- Lucky Gold Ring's death save now has a 300-second cooldown after it triggers. A roll that fails does not start the cooldown.
Fixed
- Dashing always ends right next to your target, so you can keep attacking without stepping closer.
- Global Party: the killer always gets experience for their own kill, and members using Pretend Corpse no longer take a share that nobody received.
- A shield no longer shows through your cape when you stand in combat stance facing north-west.
