What’s happening with the release?

Hi everyone!

I was planning to open the tavern doors today, but... the build is still going through Steam’s review process before it can be released.

I won’t pretend this came out of nowhere - I should have submitted it earlier. But every time I was about to do it, that endless urge to improve just one more thing in the game got the better of me.

I’m not planning to release Another Tavern Simulator in Early Access.

It’s important to me that from day one, you get the full game with all the features I planned for release.
(No judgment toward Early Access games, of course... but you know how it sometimes goes.)

I know this will be disappointing for those of you who were waiting to play today, or even set some time aside for it.

I’m really sorry about the delay :(

While the review is ongoing, I’ll keep working on the game and making it better. As soon as I can give you a new release date, I’ll post it here right away.

And I’ll do everything I can to make sure that when you finally step into the tavern, you get the best experience I can give you.

I really hope I’ll be able to invite you behind the bar very soon.

P.S. I’ve also been working on giving the game’s visuals a bit more depth and improving some of the effects. I haven’t updated the Steam screenshots yet, so here’s a small batch fresh out of the oven :)

Community27 Sep 2026A Few Days Until the Tavern OpensHiya! Another Tavern Simulator is almost here, and I wanted to share what I've been up to lately. The tavern has changed a lot over the past few weeks. I've reworked drink making and the recipe book, added more things to do, and brought changing seasons to the valley. I even tackled optimization. That was its own special kind of hell, but the game runs noticeably better now. If you run into fra…Community16 Sep 2026100 wishlists! So…Today is a little milestone for Another Tavern Simulator - the game has reached 100 wishlists . Maybe that doesn't sound like a huge number to some people, but seeing the first 100 people decide to follow the game genuinely means a lot to me. So thank you to everyone who added it to their wishlist :) I spent a while thinking about what I could show for the occasion, but honestly, I couldn't com…Community16 Sep 2026Less than two weeks until releaseThere are less than two weeks left until Another Tavern Simulator comes out. We open on September 29. Honestly, I still have no idea what to expect from the release :) I've been working on this game for quite a while: redoing things ten times even when they already seemed finished, adding new features, then completely changing the game's style and redoing everything all over again - you know, n…
