We’ve been working super hard behind the scenes to polish the game, smash bugs, and make sure running through these chaotic mazes feels as smooth and hilarious as possible. The game is getting closer to what we envisioned, and we’re genuinely thrilled to finally share this milestone with you!
We’ve just deployed Patch 0.0.2, our final update before we officially open the doors to the Steam Playtest. Here is a breakdown of what’s new, fixed, and improved in this build:

New Features & Enhancements
Added a version control system.
Improved Spectator Mode: Players can now switch targets while spectating.
Added controller rumble support.
Increased player max health ($10 \\to 12\\text{ HP}$).
Increased end-game timer duration.
Made CanNotPlace mesh transparent to improve maze readability during trap placement.
Balancing
Nerfed Cannonball trap damages and monster stats.
Bug Fixes & Stability
Multiplayer & Networking:
Fixed crash when returning to lobby after a match.
Fixed spectator mode issues (camera failing to target players, missing monster HP sync, and Gobcoins UI display glitches).
Fixed players' ready state not resetting properly.
Fixed ready UI in trap placement not displaying real-time data.
Fixed host skin incorrectly applying to all players upon lobby connection.
Improved snapshot synchronization for dungeon states (chests, traps, doors).
Gameplay & Level Generation:
Fixed instances where tools failed to spawn.
Fixed taverns getting blocked by inaccessible tiles or room walls.
Fixed multi-trap placement exploit on wall/tile overlaps.
UI & Polish:
Fixed empty hands rendering issue when no weapon is equipped.
Fixed shop image alignment and added a shortcut key to close the shop.
Fixed ambient audio tracks continuing after scene changes.
Fixed monster-related event triggers and UI issues.
