Heyo!
I've gotten a lot of positive feedback since releasing GEODE, and you guys have no idea how much it means. A very common trend among responses though is, "it kinda needs more stuff to do", and I completely agree.
So, I wanted to just straight up share my plans for what I'll be adding in the future. It's hard for me to give an exact timeline date-wise, but the ideas are all there
My goal right now is to have 4 unique biomes, and a unique boss for each one. Right now we're just at 2 biomes and 1 boss, but c'mon now that's not nearly enough. I won't spoil what the biomes will be, but I'm very excited to implement them >:)
Right now theres only 2 (3 if you count the boss) enemies. This definitely gets a little repetitive. I plan on adding more, as well as adding a bit more depth to the pre-existing ones. The boar specifically, as @PolarBearKing brought up, does "booty shakes in your face" which hopefully won't be for much longer haha. These enemies will likely come with the biomes, but I honestly don't know for now.
Oh BOY am I excited to add new towers. I'm being deliberately slow adding them in because I really want each tower to feel like it has a unique strength. I also want to be cautious about adding lots of random new effects (think a poison tower, a stacking damage tower, etc), because I don't want to break the feeling of the game. I'm not saying I won't add towers like these, but I just want to be sure they're right for the game first. Expect more towers in the future!
In general right now, after getting your base set up and getting yourself geared up, there isn't much to do. I really want to add more to do out in the world, whether that's things like clearing dungeons or camps of enemies, I'm not exactly sure. I have a bunch of ideas floating around my head, but I'm not sure which exact direction I want to go yet. I have some ideas for different kinds of tools, a way to upgrade/combine/modify them, maybe even player armor/accessories?? All just ideas for now, nothing concrete though.
Again, thank you to those who have played and given feedback, good or bad it's all incredibly valuable. I hope to be able to push content updates within a matter of weeks, not months. And as always don't be afraid to use the in-game feedback menu or pop in the discord to give feedback!
Thanks for reading,
