Hello! I'm Tz, the developer of Eclipse Blade.

It has been about one month since the Steam page went live. I usually share ongoing development updates, gameplay clips, and WIP screenshots on social media.

Starting today, I’ll also collect some of the key improvements, new content, and development highlights here in a regular devlog format.

Thank you for checking out Eclipse Blade and supporting the project so far!

[Development Updates]

Ninja Animation Improvements

  • More frames were added to the ninja’s movement, katana swing, and jump animations to make the action feel smoother.

New Ninja Skill

  • A new downward-forward blade skill has been added. This gives the player another option when dealing with enemies placed near landing points after a jump.

Environment Improvements

  • Water streams have been added to some areas, and they now affect the ninja’s movement.

  • Added more background details to improve the atmosphere of the stages.

Enemy Sprite Polish

  • The first enemy has received a new sprite update and now looks much better.
