Based on player feedback and requests, we’ve released a new update for *Werewolf: The Inner Beast*.

Changes include:

* Adjusted Lycan behavior so they no longer rush the player too aggressively at close range, giving players more time to react during encounters
* Increased melee trace radius for kicks and punches, improving hit consistency
* Increased bullet velocity and weapon accuracy to make close encounters feel more responsive
* Adjusted weapon collision behavior after reports of weapons disappearing when dropped
* Jessica now remains sweaty for a longer period after exhaustion

**Steam Deck Status**

We also want to address the Steam Deck crash issues some players have experienced after the recent SteamOS 3.6 update.

We have been in direct contact with Steam Support regarding this issue, and Valve has already reproduced the crashes internally across multiple devices and accounts. According to current findings, the issue appears to be related to a broader SteamOS / Proton regression affecting multiple titles.

We are continuing to cooperate closely with Steam Support and are providing additional logs and testing assistance while the issue is being investigated internally.

Thank you again for all the feedback, patience, and support. We’re listening closely and will continue improving the experience. 🐺

This background component was causing conflicts with certain graphics drivers, which caused the game to freeze (hard lock) without generating a crash log. Removing this unused module cleans up background processes, improves startup times, and permanently prevents this specific GPU conflict.
