Hello everyone,
It is finally time to show you what we have been working on.
OMEGA: The Dead Planet is our next third-person sci-fi survival horror game, set in the same universe as Project Werewulf and Werewolf: The Inner Beast.
And yes:
Jessica is back.
But this time, she is very far from home.
After the events of the previous games, Jessica becomes stranded on a hostile alien world - a dying planet filled with abandoned colonies, infected facilities, unknown lifeforms, and something much older hiding beneath the surface.
Welcome to OMEGA: The Dead Planet.
The game is built around semi-open regions, exploration, survival horror, combat, scavenging, light crafting, base progression, survivor rescue, and Jessica's mutation.
You will explore frozen wastelands, alien jungles, deserts, corrupted regions, abandoned laboratories, mining sites, and hidden facilities while uncovering what happened to the planet - and trying to survive long enough to do something about it.
At the center of your journey is an abandoned research base.
What begins as a shelter will gradually become your home.
You will restore and improve the base, rescue survivors, prepare equipment, gather resources, and use it as a safe haven between expeditions into increasingly dangerous parts of the planet.
But safety is relative on OMEGA.
The Lycan Is Back
Those of you who played our previous games already know that Jessica has a... complicated relationship with her other half.
The Lycan returns in OMEGA.
This time, however, the transformation is not limited to specific story sequences or levels.
Jessica's mutation is integrated into the gameplay itself.
Combat, stress, rage, progression, and player decisions will influence the beast.
Early in the game, transformations will be dangerous and difficult to control. As Jessica learns more about what she has become, players will gradually gain more influence over when and how the Lycan emerges.
The beast can save your life.
It can also create entirely new problems.
Use it wisely.
Explore. Prepare. Survive.
OMEGA introduces several new gameplay systems alongside the mechanics returning from our previous games.
Larger explorable environments mean that preparation matters more than ever.
You will have access to the hover bike to travel across the planet, transport equipment, and reach distant locations.
Resources matter.
Ammunition matters.
Preparation matters.
And knowing when to turn around matters.
OMEGA is not designed as an endless horde shooter.
There will be plenty of combat - sometimes a lot of it - but exploration, atmosphere, resource management, environmental hazards, and survival remain an important part of the experience.
Sometimes pushing deeper into an unknown facility will be worth the risk.
Sometimes the smartest decision will be:
Nope. Not today. Back to base. :D
We know exactly what many of you are about to ask.
So let's make this one extremely clear.
YES.
OMEGA will have optional adult content.
And yes - Jessica is still Jessica.
We are not suddenly becoming shy. ;)
OMEGA is designed first and foremost as a survival horror game, but we have absolutely not forgotten the side of our games that many of you have enjoyed since Project Werewulf.
The main game will remain focused on story, horror, exploration, combat, survival, characters, and relationships.
Romantic and intimate moments may appear naturally throughout the game, while additional explicit adult content is planned to remain optional for players who want it.
Our philosophy has not changed:
Adult content should add to the game - not replace the game.
If you are here for the horror, story, exploration, atmosphere, and gameplay, you will be able to enjoy OMEGA casually.
And those of you coming from Project Werewulf and The Inner Beast probably do not need us to explain what "optional adult content" means.
You already know us. ;)
OMEGA is planned to launch in Early Access in Q3 2027.
Before that happens, our focus is on building and heavily polishing the core systems:
Combat. Movement. AI. Inventory. Saving. Crafting. Base progression. Exploration. Mutation. Performance.
We want the first public version of OMEGA to be a real game, not a technical prototype with an Early Access label attached to it.
Early Access will then allow us to continue expanding the planet with new regions, story chapters, enemies, survivors, locations, equipment, encounters, and gameplay systems.
OMEGA is a long-term project, and we want to build it on a strong foundation.
As always, community feedback will be an important part of that process.
And this is where you can help us.
If you enjoyed Project Werewulf or Werewolf: The Inner Beast, and you want to see where Jessica's story goes next:
Wishlist OMEGA: The Dead Planet on Steam.
Wishlists are extremely important for a new game's visibility on Steam, especially this early in development.
Every wishlist tells Steam that people are interested.
And every one of them helps us bring OMEGA in front of more players.
You can now visit the Steam page to see the screenshots, features, and more information about the game.
We have been working on this quietly for a long time.
Now you finally get to see it.
Thank you to everyone who supported Project Werewulf, Werewolf: The Inner Beast, and us over the years.
We hope you will join us for the next one.
There is a whole dead planet waiting for us.
Wishlist OMEGA: The Dead Planet now.
See you on the Dead Planet.
