Hi!

The last few days have basically been: fixes, fixes, and more fixes.

There are already quite a few systems in the game that interact with each other, so some issues only show up in very specific situations and require additional testing.

But thanks to your reports, and because I’m trying to react as quickly as possible, the number of serious problems has gradually gone down, and the core systems now seem to be working correctly.

Some parts of the Personal Office are already added to the game as well, but they are still disabled because they are not fully ready yet:

  • access to the Personal Office

  • a sofa for faster time skipping

  • the basic framework for computer interaction

Now, about the next major update, which will take a bit more time.

  1. Computer

1.1. Full interaction with the computer

1.2. Clicker app

A small side activity to give you something to do while waiting, plus a separate achievement

1.3. Subcontractor app

This will be a much larger new system.

In a separate window, you’ll be able to browse a limited list of available subcontractor teams.

Each team will have its own characteristics:

  • rating

  • number of workers

  • available equipment

  • a few additional team parameters

You’ll be able to hire subcontractors in several ways.

The first option is for a specific contract.

You pay them for the job itself, plus a small monthly fee.

The second option is to hire a team for a certain period of time.

In that case, there will be a monthly payment plus an additional bonus for each completed contract.

I’m also planning to increase the overall vehicle limit.

You’ll be able to provide subcontractors with your own vehicles and equipment, which will help reduce their cost.

In the same window, you’ll also be able to post contracts for subcontractors.

After posting a contract, you’ll need to wait a few in-game days and then choose the team you want from those that responded.

Because of this, I’m planning to increase the contract preparation time from the current 14 days to around 30 days or slightly more.

Most likely, this change will not apply to every contract category.

Now, a few smaller functional updates that are also planned.

Add special active-contract indicators under the experience bar

When hovering over an icon, you’ll see:

Contract Name — % Complete

This should make it easier to quickly check progress without constantly opening a separate panel

This is still just an idea for now, but I’m already thinking about how to implement it — adding information about the number of available crews directly in the contract selection window

That way, you won’t have to keep switching to F5 just to check whether you have a free crew before taking a new contract

And of course, I’ll continue fixing smaller visual issues and bugs that don’t break the game but can still be annoying to look at

Thank you so much for your help, support, and ideas!

You’re the best!

And as always:

I fix. I read. I work! 🦝🔧
