Community Update #1 out now

Pioneers, we are happy to deliver what the team has been working on lately. The Community Update #1 is a first step toward a series of improvements to make the game even more enjoyable.Thank you and keep sharing your feedback with us.Here’s an overview of the major changes in this update. Full changelog available below.

  • Workstations, New Building & QoL

We observed that workstation productivity and crafting times were creating unnecessary friction. To address this, we’ve made several improvements to workstations, giving you more flexibility and reducing crafting times. Our goal is to let you spend less time waiting at stations and more time enjoying the active parts of SpaceCraft all while production continues in the background.

  • Corporations

Corporations are one of SpaceCraft’s core features. They were originally designed with larger, multi-member groups in mind, but we know that many players also want to experience this system on their own. We’ve therefore adapted the interface to make Corporations clearer and more accessible for solo players, allowing everyone to engage with this important part of the game.

  • Balancing

Crafting at your base is now much faster. We heard your feedback about the time required to craft essential items, and we’ve adjusted the balance to reduce waiting. Balancing will remain an ongoing process as we work toward the right mix of challenge, progression, and fun over the long term.

A Glimpse at the Next Community Update

Here’s an overview of what we’re currently working on:The next Update will focus on the visual aspect of the game. Planets will receive some improvements on their look. From more vegetation to better clouds visualization each planet will be slightly freshen up.Building color customisation will be added to help you manage your Base while scaling your facilities. In addition to these visual enhancements, we’ll introduce new Instances. These locations will take you into abandoned stations, where you’ll search for specific items and earn valuable rewards if you can unravel their mysteries.Along the way, you’ll encounter a nomadic merchant willing to buy almost anything. Negotiations will be tough, unless you have exactly what they’re looking for! We’ll share more information soon. Until then, discover the full patch notes for Community Update #1 below.
