# Demo Update 0.25.4 — Steam Achievements and Controller Support

The Demo now has six achievements covering its core progression:

- **First Collection** — Reap your first enemy.

- **Vessel Keeper** — Reap 100 enemies.

- **Four Thousand Names** — Reap 4,000 enemies.

- **Soul Accountant** — Earn 1,000 lifetime Souls.

- **Soul Billionaire** — Earn 1 billion lifetime Souls.

- **The Crownward Falls** — Defeat the boss of Floor 10.

### Better controller and Steam Deck play

The controller path has been rebuilt around visible focus and deliberate

selection. The D-pad moves between HUD controls, A confirms, B returns, RT

reaps, LT activates Death Knell or the next available ability, LB/RB changes

floors, L3 toggles Auto, X opens the Soul Exchange, and Y opens Campaign Goals.

Keyboard and mouse remain active at all times. The new controller path has also

been tested on a physical Steam Deck. This is an input-support update, not a

claim of official Steam Deck verification.

Holding Mouse 1 or RT now carries through an enemy's defeat. When the next enemy

arrives, the Necromancer resumes attacking automatically instead of requiring

another press. It is a small change that makes sustained reaping feel much more

natural.

Idle Necronomics launches on **October 27, 2026**, following the October Steam Next Fest. If you enjoy the Demo, please wishlist the full game and tell us what you think on Discord: https://discord.gg/JcPJqSDVF Thank you for playing—and for helping us make every floor stronger on the road to 1.0.
