Hey there, Escapists!
In a recent blog, we talked about Science Campus being “1 of 5” campuses. While the Campus Gardens isn’t an official campus in the traditional sense, we still would like to include it when talking about the campus areas, because just like The Quad, this scenic beauty shouldn’t be underestimated.
The Campus Gardens are a great place to go and relax, find some Red Herrings, get some extra credit quests done, and [REDACTED]! 😉
So get ready to take in those beautiful views, because if you’re someone who’s a little extra, you’ll like all of the extra secrets we’ve littered throughout this area.
Something I really like about the Campus Gardens is that it feels far away from everything, but not detached. Like a tiny little pocket of campus I can go relax in to get away from all the busywork I’m obligated to complete during my second year at the Academy.

One of my favourite extra credit quests in the game can be found here; you’ll have to save the day for a distressed student, who heard something inside of the maze! Could it be a giant wolf? A minotaur? The Lock-ness Monster? Who knows!
Navigate through the maze to the center for your reward, which I won’t spoil just yet. What do you think lies at the center of the maze?
Here are some of my favourite pictures of the Campus Gardens. The sounds of the rushing water with the chatter of the students really brings this place together and makes the campus feel so much more alive.
There’s tons of fun places to explore here, and we hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. We believe that the Campus Gardens are a perfect complement to the rest of the campus areas, and can provide a nice break to players!
