Day late. Sorry about that. Just got caught up with stuff yesterday and totally spaced it.

There's nothing really new to update on the personal stuff. Last night, I took some time to see if I could figure out what was causing my 13700k to get so toasty. Came across MCE and PL1/PL2 settings in the bios thanks to a JayzTwoCents video. Let's just say it definitely worked. As we all know, Summer is a killer for rendering. Especially in the desert.Until last night, I was seeing upwards of 55C in coolant temp alone. Hasn't gone above 48C since. Even took Cyberpunk for a spin, which usually kicked the CPU to up around 85C-90C dropped to about 75C on average. I was concerned that there might be some tradeoffs with Daz performance, and at least as far as loading renders goes, there's no real difference. We'll see about actually making them, but I don't think there's going to be much change.Crazy how ASUS and some of these other motherboard brands can kind of get away with open toasting your CPU. Definitely need to update my bios at some point, though. I was thinking it might've been a paste issue, but it's decent paste (MX-4) and it hasn't been quite two years, so it was unlikely to be that. Dust and general summer heat are probably not helping all the same. Not a whole lot else to touch on that's meaningful.

  • Loose count for total renders is 685. This includes all current renders. Stuff that you may or may not see depending on choices, if/else statements, previous choices, etc. There's a decent amount of renders that'll not be there based on a previous choice for a specific scene, but that's really the only notable variation.

    • We're about 80% done with the actual rendering. Still have a longer scene to do and currently working the 7th and final scene as well. The longer scene remaining is just under a quarter done. It's pretty packed. Decent number of background characters (as much as VRAM would allow), background assets, etc. Looks nice, but takes a bit longer to render.

    • Postwork will start once writing is done (more below on writing)

  • Writing is getting closer. I just can't write as fast as I make renders, which can get annoying sometimes. Like, I have the ideas. But sometimes dialogue just takes a minute to come. Anyways, personal struggles aside, it's not that far off.

    • 5 and half scenes are about done. The half comes from one scene being 90% written but the if/else hasn't been done yet. Will circle back around to that once the main writing is done.

    • There's not a massive amount of writing in the final scene despite the number of renders. There's quite a bit of implied action happening where dialogue is either unnecessary or doesn't make sense to have.

  • On the bright side, the shorter length of these updates will make updating translations faster than before, especially once we're caught up with the key languages.

    • For a translation selection page, I'm still going back and forth on how to approach it. There's the visually pretty option using flags from their countries, or there's the quicker more basic variation with just text.

    • For a correction submission, would something like Google Forms work well for most?

  • SFX and Music will like be AI like the last two updates. Trust me, if I could afford to drop the money DPC and the like do on music, I would. But AI is the best of a not great situation.

  • All that said, we're in the final stretches for P1. I'd love to have it out in August, at least for Patreons. Not at all a hard date, but a hopeful one. I think if all goes well, we should be seeing a mid-late August release. Hopefully managing to avoid the Being a Dik rush.

Not much left to say here. It's a shorter Play Sheet, but simply not a whole lot to say beyond proof of life and general stuff that you could find already if you follow closely.

Major update7 Sep 2026Season 1, Episode 5 | Part 1 is out for Steam. Not a whole lot has changed from the initial Patreon update. There was a gallery bug that I missed in those versions along with a weird text issue that was making text description text for translation selection disappear. Both are fixed now and said fixes are live for Steam users. Will be uploading an RPA/hotfix for other versions. Will be added to the official public release. Starting with the eye, it ended up being exactly what I thought it was. Just swelling due to rubbing it like an idiot. For those unaware, I do have RCE in both eyes. My left being far worse than my right, the latter of which rarely bothers me. After using Manuka Honey, most of my problems have faded (irritation, constantly feeling like someth…Community16 Jun 2026[Move The Chains] | S01E05.P1 | Play Sheet #18I don't have an exact number of renders made right now, last I counted was 375, and I think I've done 10-ish today so far. Either way, we're roughly about 80% done with the 500 planned renders. Again, may or may not go slightly over that to close out the update cleanly. I don't think a hard cutoff would be appreciated even in this format. · We're currently at about 4 scenes. Two of which are qu…
