Hello everyone!

We are back with a new development update for Wandersky.

Over the past few weeks, the team has been focused on improving the early game experience, polishing content, adding new enemies and creating new environment assets.

Here is a quick overview of what we have been working on.

Content & progression

  • Improved quest structure and progression.

  • Added and reviewed enemy placement across different areas.

  • Worked on the tutorial and fast travel systems.

Environment & VFX improvements

  • New gathering spots for cave, desert, snow and swamp areas.

  • New hero assets for important locations.

  • Sky tower miniature work.

  • Sky door and ruins miniature work.

  • Creating gigantic roots for forest decoration.

  • Improve the VFX for the Destructible rocks and enemies.

New enemies

  • We start to work on some new enemies

  • Continue working in some attacks, reaction and polish an [UNNAMED ENEMY]

Animation

  • We work on several animations for different [UNNAMED ENEMIES] for their attack, death, stuck, etc.

What is coming?

During June, and as we mentioned in our previous post, we had the pleasure of taking Wandersky to the Castilla y León Gaming Show in Zamora on June 6th and 7th.

There, visitors were able to try out the pre-alpha version of Wandersky, as well as providing us with some very useful feedback for the development process.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, played, and shared feedback with us!

The next Dev Update will be published on Friday, July 31th, where we will continue sharing the project’s progress and any exciting news we have along the way.

As always, thank you for following the development of Wandersky!!
See you up in the skies!!🏹☁️
