TWO NEW CREATURES Both are real species, and both are food — neither carries DNA.

  • Dunaliella salina — the salt-loving alga that turns whole lagoons pink and is farmed for its oil. Twin flagella, a slow banking swim, easy to catch. Your lipid supply: every one is worth 6–9 Lipids.

  • Mesodinium rubrum — a red ciliate that hovers dead still, then bolts several body-lengths in a blink. Its cilia beat in a true metachronal wave. Harder to catch, worth 6–8 Amino Acids each. One feeds the nucleus, the other feeds Level 3. Pick your target by which bar is short.

CILIA CINEMATIC AND NARRATED STORY BEATS

  • Crafting Cilia is now a scene. Watch basal bodies zipper round your membrane, each one extrude a cilium, the hairs fall into a metachronal wave, and your young cell row forward for the first time.

  • Both cinematics (Cilia and the Nucleus) are now paged. Each sentence has its own voice line and a Next button, so you read and listen at your own speed while the animation plays straight through underneath. Fully translated in all nine languages.

  • The cell in both scenes is drawn the way the crafting window draws you — wobbling, breathing membrane with real depth.

A DEEPER REEF

  • Layer shadows. The limestone walls now cast soft shadows onto the rock tiers, the lair and the water beneath them, and each tier shades the one below.

  • Water fog. A faint drifting haze anchored to the sea, thinning to nothing in the dark cave.

  • The dark cave finally lights the right things. Border rock, food capsules and DNA strands all rebound the glow of your cell and the jellies.

  • Decor now rides the rock it sits on, so nothing slides against the reef. The world is fully lit from the first frame of a new game. FIXES

  • Jelly stings can't be powered through any more — a pounce into the tail stops dead, and holding engulf no longer switches the tentacles off. Come in over the bell.

  • Spamming left-click no longer stacks the engulf sound or restarts the attack. One prey, one engulf.

  • The tutorial accepts whichever organelle you build first (Cilia or Nucleus Pore), waits through cinematics, and drops you back into the crafting menu afterwards.
