Generation Fixes
- Fixed several issues that could cause “An unknown server error occurred” during image generation.
- Fixed an issue where a timed-out or cancelled request could continue running and interfere with the next generation.
- Improved automatic recovery when the image generation, expression, or angle service stops unexpectedly.
- Prevented repeated restart loops and added clearer error messages when automatic recovery is unsuccessful.
- Improved memory stability when loading models on supported NVIDIA graphics cards.
- Reduced memory usage during photo-based character creation.
Diagnostics and Guidance
- Added Settings → Diagnostics and repair to check installed runtime and model files.
- Added a privacy-safe diagnostic bundle that does not contain images, character descriptions, prompts, or projects.
- Added clearer instructions for repairing missing or damaged installation files.
- Added disk-space checks before generating or exporting images.
- Added a notice when expression or angle models are being loaded for the first time.
Other Improvements
- The Cyberpunk art style has completed testing and is now officially available.
- Generated PNG files now store more information about the options, seed, prompts, models, and workflow used to create them.
- Improved startup and generation timing records to help diagnose future performance issues without recording user images or prompts.
The first launch or first image after starting Windows or installing an update may still take longer while the required models are loaded. Later generations during the same session should be faster.
If generation still fails after updating to 0.9.8, fully close and restart the app. You can also use Steam Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files, then open Settings → Diagnostics and repair inside the app.
Thank you to everyone who reported generation problems and helped test this update.
