Hey Adventurers!
This patch is heavily focused on QoL, visuals, and making the game run smoother. A lot of you mentioned getting completely "flashbanged" by your own skills in the late game, so I’ve added a ton of new visual toggles so you can finally tone down the screen clutter. I’ve also fixed a nasty memory leak, shrunk the game's file size, and added a brand-new "Quick Sell" zone directly in the gear menu so you can clean out your bags way faster.
Let's get into it!
Skill Casting Cap: Put a hard cap on maximum skill cast frequency. Extreme skill-spam builds will no longer cause memory leaks and crash your game!
Smaller File Size: Compressed the game's files, BGM, and sound effects to save on disk space.
Visual Toggles (No More Flashbangs!): Added a bunch of new settings to clean up your screen:
Bloom/Glow Intensity slider.
Toggle for Simplified Loot Beams.
Toggle to hide Hit VFX.
Toggle to hide Gore.
Toggle to Keep/Hide Corpses.
Fresh NPCs: Reworked all the 3D models for your Shop customers.
Unique Accessory Buff: Unique Rings and Amulets can now roll any type of Unique affix (Skill, Support, or Passive).
More Customers: Raised the "Customer Traffic" upgrade cap to Level 30. Maxing this out drastically speeds up your AFK selling, meaning fewer trips back to town. (Don't worry, this won't mess with your already-unlocked achievements.)
Quick Sell Zone: Added a drag-and-drop Quick Sell zone right in the Equipment UI. You can now grab items directly from your Stash, Safe, or equipped slots and toss them in here to sell them instantly.
Filter Override: Selling items through the new Quick Sell zone completely ignores your Auto-Sell filters.
Live Stat Previews: Your character stat panel will now dynamically preview stat changes before you equip a new piece of gear.
Cleaner Tooltips: When comparing gear, the equipped item's tooltip now pops up above the new item so it never blocks your stat screen.
Right-Click Shortcuts: Right-clicking an item in the Equipment UI now instantly equips or unequips it.
Safe Unequipping: Unequipped gear now goes straight into your Safe so your Clerk doesn't accidentally sell it while you aren't looking.
Clean Numbers: The stat panel now rounds off huge numbers (e.g., 10K instead of 10,000) to keep the UI looking clean.
No More Overcaps: The UI no longer displays excess/overcapped Crit Rate.
Potion Filter: You can now completely hide Health Potion loot tags.
Fixed a bug that caused random stuttering while hanging out in the Shop.
Fixed a weird bug where capping the game at 30 FPS broke your skill casting speed.
Fixed a 1-frame visual glitch where hidden loot tags would briefly flash on screen before disappearing.
Development is moving along smoothly, and I’m super excited for you guys to feel how much better the game runs now. If you run into any weird bugs or just want to pitch some cool ideas, hit me up!
Happy grinding!
