Hello. Thank you so much to everyone who tested the Val'ty demo, added the game to their wishlists, offered suggestions, and reported issues.
Don't worry, I won't be taking the demo down; this post is simply to discuss the future.
Right now, I'm working on two projects: Val'ty and "Evangelho da Carne" (another punk-esoteric horror game in Tamashii/Teocida universe). I appreciate your patience while waiting for updates, considering how long it takes to make one game, imagine doing two at once.
Anyway, here are the points I'm currently working for the next VAL'TY demo update:
Fixing collision issues in the prologue
Improving aim sensitivity settings
Improving navigation during Val'ty's section by indicating where to use the first key
Fixing broken lighting (only occurred with outdated NVIDIA drivers, but I'd rather fix it on my end)
Adding a "close companion command mode" prompt while commanding Val'tynha
Making checkpoints restore some health when the player is in a critical state
Fixing the shotgun/SNIPER mode combo (SNIPER mode don't work with shotgun, but the game is letting you use it, making your bullets do nothing)
Starting work on better controller support
Updating the HUD to indicate health status (adding a bloody effect to HUD elements, not obscuring the player's view, don't worry)
Look for more ways to optimize the game
That's it. The list is long, so see you later. Val'ty sends you a kiss.
