Early access moved to 25th of May

Enter the Chronosphere · published 6 May 2026, 10:21 UTC

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

We're pushing Early Access back 11 days to 25th of May.

Right after we announced EA, Subnautica 2 was announced to launch on the same day. This is probably not news to most of you as it's the most anticipated game on Steam.

We need to give Subnautica 2 its time in the sun. Or, more frankly, we don't want to release at a time where everyone (incuding streamers) are completely absorbed in Subnautica.

You have ten days to get Subnautica out of your system. 😆

🫀 Have a heart

As consolation for the bad news, here's a sneak peek of the new bossfight. Hopefully this warms your heart!

🫨 Psychodelic festival

EtC is currently in Psychodelic festival. Lots of cool, trippy stuff there. Take a look.

🦘 ANZ IndieFest

This Friday our EA release date trailer (with updated date) will be in Indie Brew's ANZ IndieFest 2026. Tune in to their YouTube channel Friday 8th of May at 7:30pm AEST.

Also, take a look at other upcoming and discounted games the IndieFest Steam sale page.

📽️ New announcement trailer

Well... It's the same trailer with the date changed. But here it is if you didn't already see it:

👁️ Looking forward

Besides the aforementioned Heart of the Chronosphere, we're looking pretty good for EA. We've been going hard getting ready for launch, and it's ready to go.

We're starting shifting focus the first update. Definitely planning on making a lot of content through EA.

We're very excited to hear your thoughts on the release!

As always, if you want to reach us with feedback or thoughts, join our Discord or leave a message in Steam Discussions.
