New Features

  • New TECH tab in the Ship Upgrades shop — salvaged technology (Planet Map, Overheat Vent, Shield, Prospector's Eye and their branch upgrades) now lives on its own tab, which unlocks once you sell your first salvage data back at base.

Improvements

  • The Ship Upgrades shop has been fully restyled to match the ship's cockpit — bronze panel framing, glowing state-colored upgrade cards, circuit-style connector lines, and a blueprint grid behind the tree.
  • The Supplies tab is now a proper storefront: large item cards with descriptions, per-quantity pricing (×1/×5/×10), and a live count of what's already in your hold.
  • Sonar Ping now has purchasable upgrade tiers — reduce its cooldown, extend its range, and boost its intensity.

Refactors

  • Removed the redundant Ore Finder shop item — Sonar Ping is standard equipment on every ship, free from the start.

Bug Fixes

  • The shop's resource readout no longer spills past its panel, and only shows minerals you actually own.
  • Supply cards no longer collapse and overlap their contents.
  • Drill Mk5 now displays its proper name, price, and description in the shop instead of a blank card.
  • Underground worms are now correctly shaded, no longer visible through unexplored fog, and can no longer pass through caldera walls.
  • Fixed a shader that caused player lighting to strobe in builds.

Cutting heads mount in the nose; tanks, radiators and modules fill the body. Every part costs cells you could have carried ore in. · Service depot rig screen — pull up to the fuel pad and rebuild the ship: drag parts from stores onto the hull, rotate them, pull them back off. Improvements Greatly reduced GPU shader work underground. Fully opaque fog now prevents hidden world layers from rendering. Precomputed fog lighting and wall bleed replace expensive per-pixel searches. Empty lava-ocean regions skip unnecessary terrain and background calculations. Reduc…Game update30 Aug 2026# Update 0.1.20260830b## Improvements - On first launch the game now detects your hardware and picks graphics settings to match, instead of starting everything at maximum. Older machines get a lower render scale, simpler effects and a frame cap. Anything you choose yourself is kept permanently. - The frame rate is no longer uncapped by default — it bought nothing when the graphics card was the limit and kept it runn…
