Greetings Commanders!
Every single person who's picked up Decimation so far and played it, sent feedback, or just quietly enjoyed a few levels means a lot more than any dashboard number could show. This is a solo project, and it's still a little surreal seeing people actually playing it.
Being able to launch the game last August 13th was a huge deal for me. It was a journey that started way back in 2012, when the game was nothing more than a prototype of an overly ambitious 4X game done in the old XNA framework. If you want to see footage from 12 years ago of what the game looked like, there are a few old videos on Decimation's Youtube Channel that show just that. :)
The game has come a long way, especially in the last 26 months since it was re-scoped into the Tower Defense + ARPG hybrid that you're able to play right now. And there's still more work ahead to have the complete 1.0 vision, but I can't wait to see what you guys will think about Act 3's new hero and challenges, and what your reaction will be to the campaign's conclusion in Act 4. The support you've shown through the game's EA launch is fuel for me to accomplish just that. And for this, I extend my heartfelt thank you.
Now here comes the small ask: If you've got a few minutes and any thoughts on the game (good, critical, or somewhere in between), an honest Steam review would help enormously. Decimation currently has 5 of the 10 reviews Steam requires before it starts showing up in more places for new players to discover. Every one genuinely counts right now.
Also, for anyone still on the fence about picking it up: the current price reflects where the game is today. As Act 3 and Act 4 are completed and added, the price will increase to match the amount of content, so this is the lowest it's likely to be.
And with that, it's back to work for me :) Today, we'll have a patch to the game's EA version and Demo version as well (details in a separate announcement).
Thanks again for playing! More to come!

Addendum: Since I'm feeling a little bit nostalgic. Sharing some older, early development screenshots of Decimation, followed by their counterparts in the most recent version of the game:
