Wreckreation 2 live stream

Who is running the stream?

Art Director Paul Phillpot and Handling Director Ben Smith will take you through the journey a brand new car goes through, from the initial idea to being drivable in-game.

What will it cover?

We'll start with how we decide what sort of car we want to add, where it fits within the game and its progression, and what its different upgrade tiers should look like. Then Paul will take you through the art workflow: building the mesh and the different LODs, rigging the car and getting it working in-game, and setting up the damage so it can bend, break and take the punishment we expect our cars to take.Ben will then show you what happens once the car exists in the game: setting up its drivetrain, tyres and suspension, and how those choices determine its speed and handling. Finally, we'll put all of that together and show you the finished car out on the road.

Can I ask Questions?

There will be an opportunity for questions at the end.
