The changes from the last post are now in the build. This update comes directly from the first round of playtest feedback — nearly every item below was requested by a tester.

Fixed

  • The pause menu no longer renders beneath the goal panel at level start.
  • Right-clicking during machine placement now cancels the placement without deleting the machine beneath the cursor.

Controls

  • Machine category buttons now display their keybindings, and those keybindings are active.
  • Added Shift + right-click to delete an area.
  • Corner conveyors can now be placed directly at a machine's output tile.
  • Hold the middle mouse button to pan the camera.

Clarity

  • The target dish name now appears in the top right when you hover the target dish icon.
  • The dough shaper's menu opens automatically on placement; left-click it to reopen.

Quality of life

  • Added Restart Level to the pause menu.
  • Added Replay Level to the level-end screen.

Balance

  • 3-star score targets have been tightened.

In development
In-game explanations of what each machine does. This was the most requested addition, and the main reason testers stalled on the Ramen level. Also under review: the bottom menu occluding the play area, and further camera options.

The playtest is free and open — request access from this page. If you play, the feedback survey is the most useful thing you can send.
