The long-awaited EA 1.90 update for REBELLION GODSOUL is finally here! Our game has officially entered a new generation with the engine upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 (UE 5.8)!
Over the past few months, our team has been working around the clock on the highly anticipated Roguelike Mode. The first playable version is now in its final polishing stage, so please bear with us just a little longer! As a token of our gratitude for your patience, this update not only includes major engine and system improvements, but also brings free new story content and CG illustrations for everyone!
Below are the full patch notes for EA 1.90:
• The game engine has been officially upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.8 (previously UE4.26). We also rebuilt the underlying character illustration system for improved performance.
• Added a new [Story Replay System] (Archive) in the Main Base.
• Optimized the CG Gallery system to greatly reduce VRAM usage.
• Save files from previous versions are fully compatible with this update and will not be corrupted.
• Please note: Save files from the 1.78 branch are NOT backward compatible with this version. Please do not use an older game version to load saves created in EA 1.90.
• Alice's personal story has been expanded from 1 episode to 3 episodes.
• Corrected and improved various localization texts.
• Fixed expression issues for Artemis's Swimsuit outfit.
• Further optimized VRAM usage in the Gallery system.
*Thank you for your patience! Over the past few months, nearly all of our development effort has gone into the Roguelike Mode, and the first version is now in its final polishing stage.
