A quick follow-up to the Banners of Command update, with a new loading screen and a handful of fixes and tweaks from your first hours with it.
New
- A loading screen. Starting or loading a game now shows a proper loading screen while your world is generated, instead of a frozen window.
Balance
- Citadels are worth the climb. A Citadel's daily income is doubled, so reaching the top settlement tier finally pays off.
- Cheaper late-game research. Renaissance and Imperial technology costs have been cut, so the last two ages are far less of a grind.
Fixes
- Citadels can be built again. After an upgrade, a city could end up quietly bound to an old hub, which stopped it from ever counting toward a Citadel. This is fixed, and older saves repair themselves on load.
- The AI keeps advancing. An AI battle line could stall in front of a settlement it could not capture directly. It now marches on to the target that opens up the whole region.
Thank you for playing, and for all the early feedback!
