Multiple fixes for this patch addressing various pain points brought to my attention by YOU, my lovely playtesters!
Bug Fixes
- Fixed door hit radius. Doors should be much easier to open now (instead of looking all over for that ONE spot to click to open them)
- Fixed a bug where you could flick a light and get trapped under some mattresses (it was stuffy in there)
- Fixed a clear indicator that a door was locked (previously door just sat there and it felt glitched. Now there's some "locked" feedback to indicate its state)
Updates
- Updated player movement speed. Not too much, but just enough to feel more natural (both crouching and walking speeds)
- Updated default FOV and mouse speeds. They were cranked up for some reason and some folks who played were treated to a REAL fisheye lens effect...
- Updated some puzzle flows to make them more intuitive and to stop unnecessary wandering. This should help streamline the puzzle (specifically the hallway puzzle) so that the game flow isn't interrupted by frustrating and unintended wandering
- Updated the amount of time needed to hold down E to flick a light. Significantly reduced this - down to 0.15 seconds from 0.4. You're gonna be flicking A LOT, the easier the better. I want each flick to be satisfying and I think this fixes that.
- Updated the Credits page to include my most recent playtesters!
As always, thank you to everyone who plays, tests, and gives feedback here or on social media! You guys are rockstars!
