EchoKey 2.1.7 – Hotfix

This update fixes issues some users saw after updating to 2.1.6, especially lost settings and an empty or incorrectly translated overlay.

Settings after updates – Audio devices, volume, normalizer, language, and other preferences are stored more reliably and restored on startup.
Sounds folder – Your configured soundboard directory is less likely to reset; known paths are repaired automatically.
Profiles & sounds sync – Overlay and main window stay in sync when switching profiles or folders.
Overlay localization – Missing strings added; mixed-language UI fixed.
Overlay hotkeys – Header and footer show your assigned hotkeys again (folder +/−, navigation, play).
Stability – Rare white screen on launch (corrupted cache) fixed.

If sounds are still missing after updating, check Settings → Sounds directory and confirm your files are in the correct folder.
