It's been a while since our last Developer Log, but throughout this time, many of you have continued to follow and support Warborne Above Ashes. To everyone who has stayed with us along the way, thank you. Now, we want to share what comes next for the game.
Since launching in September 2025, we've had the honor of watching Driftmasters from all around the world bring their passion, determination, and unforgettable moments to the battlefield. Those memories are something our team will always cherish. Over the course of service, however, we ran into a number of serious operational and business challenges. Despite every effort to push forward, we were ultimately unable to turn things around.
After long and careful consideration, we regret to announce that Warborne Above Ashes will cease all further content updates. To all the Driftmasters who have followed, supported, and stood by us throughout this journey, we offer our sincerest apologies.
We know that many players who love Warborne Above Ashes are still standing with us. The servers will remain online, and all existing content will continue to be fully available to play.
From our first test in 2024 to the official launch in September 2025, Warborne Above Ashes has embodied everything we envisioned for a PvP experience. To witness warbands from around the world clash, the coordination within squads, and the remarkable unscripted moments that unfolded across the open world—these were not just ideas we imagined, but experiences that truly came to life. They have meant a great deal to our team.
Thank you to every Driftmaster who poured their passion into this world. The battlefield will remain here for you, and you are always welcome to return.
