Season S2.3 has successfully concluded, and we hope you all reaped satisfying rewards from the newly introduced Treasure Hunt modes.
Now, amidst the growing festive spirit, it's time to welcome the upcoming S2.4 Season: Raid for Riches!
Why S2.4?
In a previous developer log, we mentioned that Season 2 was planned to consist of three mini-seasons. However, after introducing the brand-new Abyss Treasure Hunt and Daily Treasure Hunt modes in S2.3, we identified some areas for improvement that need our immediate attention, based on both the modes' actual performance and the invaluable feedback from you, our Driftmasters.
Therefore, we have decided to add one more mini-season to S2. This will allow us to further polish and refine the Treasure Hunt modes, laying a more solid foundation for the major Season 3 update.
Now, let's dive in and see what exciting content awaits in the "Raid for Riches" season
Raid for Riches: Celebrate Lunar New Year with Surprising Treasures!
In the "Raid for Riches" season, we will be rolling out a comprehensive optimization for the existing Abyss Treasure Hunt and Daily Treasure Hunt modes, along with the following brand-new content:
● More Maps: New maps are coming to the Daily Treasure Hunt!
* Novice Maps (T3-T5): Accessible only to Driftmasters at or below Level 24.
* High-Risk Maps (T9-T11): Death in these zones will result in greater gear loss, but the maps also offer much richer rewards!
● Random BUFF System: During Daily Treasure Hunts, you'll have a chance to trigger powerful "Fate BUFFs". You must choose one effect to activate from a selection of randomly drawn special buffs, adding more fun and unpredictability to each run.
● Key System: The Abyss Treasure Hunt now features a Key System. You can spend key charges to enter special high-resource rooms.
Of course, the S2.4 season update offers much more than just the expansion and optimization of the treasure hunt modes. With the Lunar New Year just around the corner, we have prepared a wealth of festive celebration events for all Driftmasters. Participate to earn bountiful rewards, including unique cosmetics and rare items. Additionally, all-new mount cosmetics will be released to make your journey even more spectacular!
● Hunt for a PS5: After the new season begins, participate in Treasure Hunt mode and complete designated Sprint Missions to enter the draw for a PlayStation 5 console!
● Lunar New Year Celebration: During the Lunar New Year, multiple in-game events will be live, including a New Year Login Event, Extra Drops in Treasure Hunt, and Boosted Income. Log in and join the treasure hunts for a chance to get limited-edition cosmetics like the Golden Avatar, as well as a large amount of Eclipsium, Starfall Tokens, and other upgrade materials.
● New Year Bundles: During the Lunar New Year, limited-time Bundles containing the Qilin Mount will be available in the shop. Additionally, there will be a cumulative recharge event where you can obtain the all-new Dragon Mount. Please refer to the upcoming event announcement for more details.
A Look Ahead: Season 3
We know you've all been eagerly awaiting the massive new 3.0 season, Driftmasters. We're sorry we can't let you dive in just yet, but we promise it will usher in a brand-new world for Warborne.
In Season 3, as the entrance to the Underworld is sealed, the very concept of Factions will be shattered, becoming a relic of the past. From now on, every Warband fights for itself!
On this more chaotic and lawless planetary battlefield, your personal ambitions and choices will matter more than ever before. Will you become a legendary treasure hunter, your name whispered in awe? A feared reaper of the battlefield, whose presence strikes terror in your enemies? Or a brilliant commander, leading your team to glorious victory?
