AquaDesk Update 1.5 — TVs that play your videos, 3 new fish, better swimming

TVs — your own videos, playing inside the tank

Two new objects join the tank: a cream CRT TV and a black flat-screen TV. Press "Choose video" in Arrange mode and point it at one of your own video files, and it starts playing on the screen. The fish swim across in front of it.
Note: playing a video can slow things down on some computers. If it feels heavy, press "Remove video".

Three new tropical fish

All three are peaceful little fish that swim in a shoal.

• Cardinal tetra — a close relative of the neon tetra. The red band that covers only the back half of a neon runs the whole way, from nose to tail. It likes dim, soft water and stays in a tight shoal.

• Glowlight tetra — a single line of fluorescent orange from snout to tail, like a little lamp switched on. Peaceful and hardy, and the more companions it has, the tighter the shoal.

• Zebra danio — blue and gold stripes, and the fastest and toughest fish of the lot. It races tirelessly near the surface. Kept in too small a group it gets bored and goes off to nip the fins of other fish, which is its one failing.

Better swimming

Fish are now far less likely to turn too far after a wall and swing back the way they came. Other unnatural movements have been reduced as well, and the way a fish heads for food has been improved too.
