Hello.
Hotfix 1.3.0+4 for Three Kingdoms Classic is now available.
This hotfix resolves issues where turn progression could appear to continue indefinitely after pressing the Proceed button, as well as an issue that could interrupt the game at the end of a round in certain save files.
The main changes are as follows.
Turn Progression and Full Delegation
Fixed an issue where automatic progression would not resume when Full Delegation was re-enabled immediately after loading a save.
Turn preparation, notifications, autosaving, and manual progression continue to operate under the same rules as before.
Round-End Errors in Some Older Saves
Fixed an issue in some Warlords save files where an officer could reference a force that did not exist, causing an error at the end of a round.
When an affected save is loaded, invalid affiliation data will now be safely recovered. Round progression will also continue even if an officer references a force or city that no longer exists.
Improved Windows Audio Responsiveness
Reduced instances where input or screen updates could briefly freeze while background music or sound effects were being changed on Windows.
Audio playback and shutdown processing have been moved away from the main interface thread so that native audio operations no longer block the game screen.
macOS Steam Workshop Fix
Fixed an issue on macOS where Steam Workshop initialization could fail, preventing portrait packs from being used.
The macOS version has been replaced with a newly built and signed version as part of this hotfix.
The save and replay formats have not changed. Save files created with previous versions can continue to be loaded and played normally.
If turn progression still stops or the game closes unexpectedly after updating, please report the situation and include the affected save file. The information you provide is extremely helpful in identifying and resolving these issues.
If you have enjoyed the game, please consider leaving a Steam review. Your feedback is a great help in the continued development and improvement of the game.
Thank you.
