Today, we are excited to introduce a new feature that many Human Gods have been waiting for: the Dual Affection System.
Affection content has always been one of the most important parts of Horizon Walker, allowing you to explore each Vanguard’s emotions and deepen your bond with them.
Over time, we received many requests from Human Gods asking for something more:
“I want to see affection scenes featuring two characters together.”
“I want to experience the chemistry between Vanguards who share a special relationship.”
Likewise, The Dual Affection System was created in response to that feedback.
- What Is the Dual Affection System?
The Dual Affection System is a new type of affection content featuring two Vanguards together.
While existing affection stories focus on your relationship with a single Vanguard, Dual Affection Scenes bring two Vanguards together at once, creating special moments that highlight their chemistry, shared history, and new interactions with the Human God.
Each pair will feature:
- Exclusive story scenes
- Unique dialogue and interactions
- Custom presentation tailored to their relationship
Our goal is to capture the distinct personalities and dynamics of each duo and deliver a truly memorable experience.
■ Unlock Requirements
To access Dual Affection content, you must meet all of the following conditions:
- Own both Vanguards in the designated pair
- Reach Affection Level 5 with both Vanguards
- Equip both Vanguards with their required exclusive costumes
Once all conditions are met, the pair’s Dual Affection Scene will be unlocked.
The requirements are more demanding than those for standard affection content, but we are working to ensure that the experience feels just as special as the effort it takes to unlock.

The Dual Affection System is a feature that has been discussed internally for a long time.
Because each scene requires custom direction, dialogue, and presentation, bringing this feature to life has taken considerable time and effort.
