World maps
Real coastlines at every size — no more round islands; countries on every continent, big and small
Mountain ranges grown along coasts and spines, with wind and rain shadow: green windward, dry lee; lakes drain to the sea
Your setting text shapes the world: "a thousand islands", "one vast continent", "an ocean world", named ranges, rivers and inland seas placed and lettered
Capitals sit in their country's heartland on a river or coast, never on a border; every town knows its country and the naming pass is told
Buildings and rooms
A building's role reaches its rooms (tavern, barracks, manor); the biggest room is the principal room; no ship or dungeon props in a town house
A room's description places what it names: "a low bed against the north wall, a basin beside it, scrolls in the corner"
Rooms show their condition — ruined, abandoned or damaged (rubble, cobwebs, fewer things) — and their owner's things: a scholar's desk, a soldier's rack, a temple's altar, a clan's banner
Atlas
Room and building maps: no scale bar, no giant titles; doors are door marks; names stay on the sheet and wrap; named geography lettered on the world map
Storytelling
Scripture, inscriptions, prophecy and letters are quoted on the page, not summarised — you read the words the moment your character does
No more re-telling: a scene you've already read is never narrated again in the next turn
If footsteps or a voice are coming down the hall, somebody actually arrives — off-screen approaches now have to be paid off
Ambience varies and follows the clock: no more the same bucket, rooster and hammer every turn, and a manor is no longer "waking up" at eleven
The Ambience setting (full / only when it changes / none) is now obeyed — a hidden always-on rule used to overrule it
Quests
Objectives tick off one at a time as you actually do them, instead of all staying empty until the whole quest ends
The storyteller is now required to mark a step done the turn you complete it, and to log progress rather than assume it
AI memory
One memory format on every model and every Reasoning Passes setting — your notes no longer reformat and lose categories when you change a dial
Notes record at the precision the story showed (blood in the mouth stays blood in the mouth, not "a nosebleed")
Engine figures like faction income no longer get copied into notes where they go stale
Stray backslashes no longer creep into saved notes
A living world
People can leave buildings again — the door on the edge of a map no longer bounces the person trying to use it
Workers stay at work instead of being thrown straight back out the door they walked in
Walking past a building no longer pulls you inside it
Settings
Changing a game rule (like base XP) now shows on open character sheets immediately instead of after a reload
