In case you missed the news earlier this week, Tyr will enter Early Access on September 2nd, 2026.
That means we're in Tyr's last playtest before release right now. The playtest began on August 27th and will run until September 1st at 9am PT.
Player Title available for all playtesters
As a thank you to everyone who playtested Tyr at any point in our pre-release period, we're giving all players a special ALPHA player title to display below their in-game handles.
To get it, all you have to do is log into the playtest play. If you've already played, you'll get it automatically. If you haven't played yet, this playtest phase is your last chance to log in, play, and get the title.
The title will be available once Tyr launches into Early Access. And, yes, you'll keep all of your progress from then playtest.
How to join...
Getting into the playtest no longer requires a special invite or a wait. Open the store page here on Steam and click the "Request Access" button below the trailers and screenshots.
Access is instant.
