Version 0.9.2 released!

Version 0.9.3 has been released. While I'm planning to do major updates monthly, I'll also try to include a bug fix update a week after each major one. And, because they should be fun, I might also add little bits to these smaller updates too.

This version's fun stuff comes from two new items: the Mermaid Boots and the Flood Scroll. The Mermaid Boots grants the Aquatic status effect, granting +1 Strength in shallow water and +2 Strength in deep water. They also add a Level 2 Strength ball to your hand. (Unlike the Weighted Boots, there are no starting balls added with the Mermaid Boots.) That's fun, but it's also a bit limited - enemies that flood the battlefield only show up on floors 5 and 6 of the dungeon. So I also added a Flood Scroll - a consumable that raises the level of water, castable at any time. It's nice to have that in your pocket, especially for poison builds - all of your low level balls will float up to the top and often start merging up there.

And the bug fixes:

- Fixed a bug where the music volume reset to full at the title screen. [Thanks to jaggeh]

- Fixed a bug where the floor boss can show up too close to the stairs / floor entrance. [Thanks to Lions]

- Fixed a bug where you could get lots of the same loot. Now most items should drop once a run, rings can drop twice, and consumables unlimited times. [Thanks to jaggeh]

- Stopped tiny waves of water from appearing at the bottom of the battlefield outside of the swamp.

- Stopped an occasional splash sound effect from firing when a ball hits the floor of the field.

- Fixed a bug where a double flood action could give Aquatic monsters one too many stacks of Strength

- Fixed a bug with the Ax where the neighbor cleave damage was much smaller than it should have been. (It was quartered twice instead of once.)

Happy crawling!

It's been fun designing a drop-merge roguelike, taking a genre that I've been obsessed with and putting my own twist on it. Ball Fall is a deckbuilder, but I've tried to avoid a lot of the Slay the Spire deckbuilding tropes. There's no pick-3-perks here, no incre…
