The Big August Update — Now Testing on the Beta Branch

The next major update for Happy Endings lands at the end of August — and it's the biggest one since launch. It's playable right now on the Steam beta branch, and we'd love your help testing it.

What's coming

• WORKER TRAITS — every hire can roll quirks: VIP DARLING, QUICK HANDS, EXHIBITIONIST, IRON BACK and 11 more. Two same-tier hires are never the same girl again.
• MORALE — nonstop work tires a girl out (slower, worse tips), rest brings her back. Send her on a break, flip the front-desk sign to CLOSED to rest the whole roster, or grab the new SHIFT MANAGER Legacy perk to automate it. Low morale never makes anyone quit.
• SUSPICION REWORK — the heat meter is now risk vs. reward. Ride it past 50% and customers pour in faster... but let it hit 100% and the Guild seizes your safe and locks the parlor down while they sweep it.
• AURELIA, THE LEGENDARY HIRE — a one-of-a-kind golden girl who can turn up at the Hire desk if you're lucky. Hand-animated, with five exclusive scenes only she can learn.
• MUSIC SHOP — five new chill-out tracks to buy for your parlor with your hard-earned cash, alongside the classic theme. Your collection survives rebirth.
• STYLE — 10 hairstyles plus new NINJA and MAID outfits, on top of per-girl colors and dyes.
• FAVORITE SCENES — star any learned scene per girl in the COACH menu, and she'll perform only what you starred. Decide who does what.
• RENAME YOUR GIRLS — right from their card.
• MONTHLY LEADERBOARD — the board now has ALL-TIME and THIS MONTH tabs, with monthly resets.
• QUALITY OF LIFE — scene censoring removed entirely, volume sliders for music/SFX, the game keeps running while minimized, in-game patch notes, and a REPORT BUG button that sends your log straight to us.
• PERFORMANCE & STABILITY — big parlors finally run at full capacity, plus a pile of crash and freeze fixes.
