Hello Pioneers! We want to take the time to discuss our past and current work since the Early Access launch. Below you will find a recap of what we’re focusing on at the moment as well as a form for you to give us your opinion on what should be addressed once the earlier priorities are advanced 🔩

Balancing

We know several of you find the game to be sometimes too grindy. We intend to respect the player time so every hour spent on our game is enjoyable. In order to reach that for all our players, we will keep on improving:

  • balancing: when necessary, we will review different costs and parameters until we are satisfied with the game balancing, especially in late game
  • guidelines & hints: sometimes the cause is more the lack of direction or tips, we will improve this as well (special thoughts for Elmerium Dust)
  • additional content and feature: ofc, this will come sometimes with exciting new features that we are preparing as well

The whole balancing of the game will take time and will be done step by step thanks to your help and feedback.

Bug Fixes and stabilisation

Since launch we have addressed a lot of issues and will continue to do so.
A new patch will be released early next week. In the meantime, you can find details of all our previous fixes in those patch notes:

This work (as well as optimisation) will continue in the coming weeks and will remain one of our top priorities for as long as it is needed.

Quality of Life

We started addressing concerns over the game and how people enjoy playing it.
Last week, we released two important patches adding The solo offline mode as well as a first Balance patch to make the progression more aligned with players’ expectations

In the coming weeks, we’ll be working on other important points that were brought up:

  • Crafting 2.0: With Crafting Queues, multiple crafts in one click, and more!
  • Corporations: Improved ways for players to look for a Corpo and for Corpos to recruit new members
  • Help & tips: Improve UI and information on what you can do and how to achieve it.

Once we’ve done all of this, we’ll jump into heavier topics like those On the roadmap!

New Features and your priorities!

We have a good idea of what we want to address and in which order, but the game is in Early Access for a good reason. We want to have your opinion on what you want to see in priority as well.
We are sharing below a form that you can fill and that we’ll use to provide a better view of what to expect for the rest of the year!

Thank you for being part of this Early Access and for playing SpaceCraft! We are committed to providing the best possible version of our game, thanks to your help!
If you would like to show your support, why not talk about the game to your friends, join our Discord and Reddit communities, and leave a review on Steam?

See you for the next update Pioneers
