Patch Notes

Version v.0.1.1061 is rolling out now! Here's a list of changes since the last update!

Fixes & Improvements

Spectator

  • Fixed an issue where spectators could inconveniently collide with the roof support beams at Factory. Spectators can now move through these support beams, providing a smoother and less obstructed spectating experience.

Movement & Crouching

  • Fixed an issue where players could crouch while falling or jumping, allowing them to reach areas that are not intended to be accessible.

  • Fixed an issue where a player who crouched before becoming a Prop could become restricted to extremely slow movement.

Training Mode

  • Fixed an issue where the player's field of view could become extremely narrow when switching weapons in Training Mode while sniper aiming was active.

New Features

Prop Hunt - Reconnaissance Phase

  • Added a new Reconnaissance Phase to Prop Hunt. Players can now explore and familiarize themselves with the environment before the match begins.

  • The duration of the Reconnaissance Phase can be configured by the Host in the Game Setup menu.

  • Added a HUD indicator showing the remaining Reconnaissance Phase time.

Hunter Blindness Timer

  • Added a HUD indicator showing how long the Hunters remain blinded at the beginning of a Prop Hunt round. This provides Props with clearer information about how much time they have to find a hiding spot before Hunters can see them.

Movement Mode Indicator

  • Expanded the Movement Mode Indicator to support players who transformed into Props.

  • Props can now see whether their movement is currently locked or unlocked. This provides clearer feedback about the Prop's current movement state.

Loading Screen

  • Added more specific gameplay tips to loading screens. These tips provide useful information to help new and existing players better understand the game and its mechanics.

Gameplay Changes

Pre-Match Crouching

  • Players can no longer crouch before the match begins. This change is intended to prevent various issues that could occur when crouching during the pre-match phase.

  • This change has no gameplay impact once the match begins.

Weapon Balance

  • Increased the damage of Pistols and SMGs to improve weapon balance and overall gameplay. This change is intended to make these weapons more competitive and provide a better overall combat experience.

Prop Hunt - Game Setup

  • Renamed "Double Barrell Shotgun" to "DB Shotgun" in the Prop Hunt Game Setup menu.

Known Issues

Customization

  • The round icons currently used in the Customization menu will be changing in a future update. An overhaul of the underlying customization system is planned for the coming weeks. The current icons will remain in place until this overhaul is implemented.

We will continue monitoring player feedback and working toward making Duelgrounds a smoother, more balanced, and more polished experience.

Thank you for playing Duelgrounds!
