Hello, warriors!

In our last post, we looked at how different biomes shape the atmosphere of our battlefields. Today, we want to focus on combat feel - specifically how animations, visual effects, and clarity bring tactical encounters to life.

Impact and Pace


In turn-based tactics, every action needs to feel satisfying without slowing down the game. We are focusing on keeping combat responsive while ensuring that strikes, shots, and movements deliver clear visual feedback.

Visual Readability


When shamanic magic and cards enter the grid, battlefields can get busy. Maintaining visual clarity is a key priority:

  • Distinct spell FX: card abilities and spirit magic feature clean visual cues so you instantly understand their effect;
  • Immediate feedback: changes to Health and Spirit, as well as status effects, are clearly communicated on screen.

We’ll keep polishing the visual feedback and combat flow as development continues.
