Halloween Update — Meet Cinnamon Abyssinian!

Halloween is moving onto your desktop

The lanterns are glowing, the pumpkins are in place, and a new companion has arrived: Cinnamon Abyssinian!

A new cat with an animated room included

Meet Cinnamon Abyssinian, with tall ears, a slender silhouette and a full set of new animations.

Buying this cat includes the Pumpkin Lantern Dance animated decor at no extra cost. The Steam bundle contains both inventory items: the cat and the room. The room is also available separately in the shop.

A will-o’-the-wisp, three lanterns to wake and a cosy hiding place await your companion. Window light, lantern glows and shadows follow the day/night cycle throughout the room.

A collection for lantern-lit evenings

Four Halloween accessories can be unlocked with Paw Coins:

• A pumpkin cushion for cosy naps.
• A jingling pumpkin toy.
• Halloween food and water bowls.
• A lantern perch.

A classic Halloween wallpaper also joins the available backgrounds. Find the four accessories together in the collection album and with the shop’s new New filter.

A new daily flashlight mission

Explore the room with your flashlight and find the hidden cat! The light follows your mouse; touch and keyboard controls are supported too.

This minigame joins the daily rotation alongside the three existing games, with the usual mission rewards.

Improvements and fixes

• Desktop cat proportions now fit their accessories better.
• Cinnamon Abyssinian’s contact with bowls, beds and platforms has been adjusted.
• Fixed animated wallpaper placement on the Windows 11 desktop.
• The controller stays visible at launch and after profile creation.
• Bug reports handle attachments more reliably.

Thank you for making room for these little paws on your desktop!
