Kiki now has four complete poses: Working, Listening, Sleeping, and Drawing.
New unlockable collectibles:
· Channel Zero: Listen to music with Kiki for a total of 90 minutes.
· Dreaming on Her Tail: Spend a total of 180 active minutes with Kiki.
· Spark at the Brush Tip: Complete a total of 10,000 keyboard presses or mouse clicks while using Kiki.
Each new pose now comes with its own unique animations and reactions:
· While listening to music, Kiki responds to music playback. When leveling up, the particles around her ears and her tail movements become more lively.
· While sleeping, Kiki features breathing animations, subtle ear movements, mouth animations, and pulse feedback in response to input.
· While drawing, Kiki blinks, reacts to input, and generates particles around her brush. She also closes her eyes when being dragged around the desktop.
· Level-ups and task completions now trigger animations based on Kiki's current pose.
· Added a complete Character Tasks page where you can view task requirements, real-time progress, and unlockable rewards.
· Added task completion notifications and companion animations.
· Newly unlocked collectibles now use a progressive notification dot system to guide you to the relevant page.
· Fixed an issue where notification dots could remain after completing a task.
· Fixed an issue where some new tasks and collectibles were not registered correctly.
· Fixed an issue where task progress could display outdated values until the page was reopened.
· Added complete localization support for all new tasks, rewards, and interface text.
· Added a Remember Main Window Position option, disabled by default.
· When enabled, Daymark saves the main window's last position locally when it is closed.
· Window position data is not included in Steam Cloud saves and will not sync between devices.
· Improved split-screen behavior: when the main window loses focus, the Rhythm page will continue updating the vinyl animation and currently playing music.
· The desktop companion and background tracking will continue running independently when the main window is closed or minimized.
· Fixed several cases where the desktop companion could fail to appear or unexpectedly disappear.
· Reduced unnecessary input scanning, background polling, and UI rebuilding while idle.
· Unnecessary UI rendering is now paused when the main window is minimized or hidden.
· When the main window is visible but unfocused, Daymark now uses a lower-cost refresh strategy.
· The Rhythm page continues to display real-time animations when used in a split-screen setup.
· The Tasks page now reads only the progress data currently needed for display, preventing frequent full save-data updates from repeatedly triggering main UI refreshes.
· Existing desktop companion animations and feedback effects have been preserved. Performance improvements were made without removing visual effects.
· Input activity, music playback, active time, and task unlocks continue to be tracked through Daymark's background systems, even when the main window is not open.
· Fixed an issue where some poses would not switch correctly when selected.
· Adjusted the display scale and effect positioning for different Kiki poses.
· Standardized the font, size, and alignment of level-up and task completion notifications.
· Improved the visual hierarchy of task completion, level-up, and collectible notifications.
· Updated the Steamworks SDK to version 1.65.
· Improved local reliability and progress handling when Steam Cloud saves are temporarily unavailable or have not yet finished syncing.
Thank you for all your feedback!
We'll continue improving Daymark's character collectibles, interactive animations, and overall performance in future updates.
