Thanks for all your feedback! We've found that in some language versions of this post, the description of "Illegal Teaming" contained a serious translation error, which caused confusion. We sincerely apologize for this and would like to make a few clarifications.
"Illegal Teaming" is defined as: multiple players deliberately entering the same match to work together against other players or engage in other unfair practices that ruin the experience for others. In other words, the core criterion is "multiple players intentionally joining the same match to team up and ruin others' experience". Only cases that strictly meet this definition will be penalized.
Some language versions previously mistranslated this as the broader phrase "cooperate with others," omitting the key precondition of "deliberately entering the same match." This led to a misunderstanding. Rest assured, this was purely a translation error and has nothing to do with the penalty criteria themselves.
The charm of extraction games lies in complex, split-second in-match decisions and diverse playstyles, and we won't try to tell you "how you should play our game." That said, we believe ensuring a fair PvP experience is our top priority. Throughout every test, we've continuously worked to refine our detection and penalty systems for cheating and Illegal Teaming. The current definition and penalty rules for Illegal Teaming represent what we believe best balances freedom and fairness. We are committed to maintaining a fair and enjoyable gaming environment and will take strict action against any behavior that undermines fair play:
- Any player confirmed to be using cheats will receive a permanent account and device ban. We have zero tolerance for cheating.
- Players who intentionally cooperate with others to gain an unfair advantage, attack other players, or engage in any other behavior that violates fair play and negatively impacts the experience of others will be considered to have engaged in Illegal Teaming and will receive a matchmaking suspension. Repeat offenders will face increasingly severe penalties, up to and including a permanent ban.
If you encounter any violations in-game, please report them through the in-game reporting system or the official community. Every report helps us maintain a fair and orderly gaming environment. Our security team will continue to monitor and take action against violations through backend data analysis, in-game reports, community reports, and other methods.
