Version 1.16 is now available. The highlights this time are expanded player profiles and a complete overhaul of the editor.
We are also covering the previously unannounced contents of Version 1.15 (an important farm-game bug fix, contract renewal improvements, and more).
Player Hometown, Height & Weight (Ver 1.16)

Every player now has a profile, shown in the sidebar of the player detail screen.
- Hometown: Japanese players are generated from all 47 prefectures (weighted by population and baseball hotbeds), and foreign players from 16 countries
- Height & weight: reflect positional tendencies (tall pitchers, smaller middle infielders, and so on). Powerful hitters tend to be bigger, and once in a while you will find a small player with surprising power
- Existing saves and custom CSVs work as-is. Players without values get them auto-generated, and the same player always gets the same values
CSV Editor Overhaul (Ver 1.16)

The in-game CSV editor has been rebuilt from the layout up.
- Breaking balls can now be edited per pitch type. Just pick a pitch from one of the six dropdown slots and enter its break amount — pitch count, signature pitch and overall breaking value stay in sync automatically
- The guide panel at the bottom is gone. Hover over a field name to see a tooltip explaining that specific item
- Hometown (dropdown selection, blank = auto-generate), height and weight can also be edited
- Colors and layout have been cleaned up, and the team and stadium editors now share the same design
- The bundled standalone CSV editor (CsvEditor.exe) also supports the new fields
Steam Workshop Improvements (Ver 1.16)
- Fixed a bug where mods replacing the player name CSVs (JapaneseNames.csv / ForeignNames.csv) were never applied. If a subscribed Workshop mod contains a name CSV, it now fully replaces the name pool (applies to newly generated players such as draft prospects and overseas scouts)
- Added a folder structure guide to the upload screen. For the content folder, select the PARENT folder that contains Data / face / emblem and so on
- Items with an invalid structure (layouts the game cannot read) are now detected at upload time, with specific instructions on how to fix them
Recap of Ver 1.15 (already live)
Important bug fix: first-team starters were appearing in farm games
- Fixed a bug where your first-team starting position players were playing in your farm games as well, contaminating farm stats and draining the stamina of first-team players twice
- Previously contaminated farm stats (physically impossible appearance counts) are automatically repaired when a save is loaded
Keep/Release sorting in contract renewals
- You can now sort players into "Keep" and "Release" on the contract renewal list. Supports releasing all marked players at once, bulk-signing all keepers (at their asking salary), and running individual negotiations in sequence
- The initial contract offer now defaults to the player's asking salary. Offering exactly the asking salary always closes the deal (no more manual adjustment every time)
Roster screen usability
- The roster list now auto-scrolls when you drag near its top or bottom edge, so you can swap with players off-screen
- Added a click-based "Choose swap target" mode. Select a player, press the button, then click the destination to swap (with a comparison view)
- Empty lineup slots are shown as "+ Unassigned" cards and can also be filled by clicking
Other improvements and fixes
- Fixed an issue where errors (E) in watched games were not recorded on the scoreboard or in player stats. The play-by-play log now also shows who committed the error
- Adjusted line spacing in the player detail sidebar for better information density
- Cleaned up wording on the Workshop mod list and upload screens
- Fixed an issue where English button labels on the title screen could leave ghosting artifacts
We will keep improving the game. If you run into issues or have requests, please let us know on the Community Hub.
