Version 1.74 is out. This update answers a batch of requests about how players are used. The core is converting two-way players to position players, showing Recovery on the player screen, and three Auto Roster modes. We also rebuilt the bundled AbilityEstimator tool, which helps you recreate real players and more, to match the current CSV layout.
Make a two-way player a position player only

- Two-way players on your club now have a "Make position player only" button on the player screen. It removes the pitcher registration and sets the position with the highest fielding rating as the primary position
- The player leaves the rotation, setup, closer and bullpen slots, but stays in the batting order. Pitching stats so far remain in the career record (switch between batting and pitching on the Career tab)
- The change cannot be undone. A confirmation dialog shows the new position before you commit
Recovery shown on the player screen
- The player screen now shows Recovery on the left, under Salary. It is the value used for condition recovery after games, and it was not visible anywhere before
- It uses the same color tiers as the other ratings. The actual amount recovered still depends on pitcher/hitter role and workload such as pitching on consecutive days
Auto Roster gains "No moves" and "All squads"

- A dropdown to the left of the Auto Roster button on the Roster screen lets you pick With moves / No moves / All squads
- No moves keeps the current major-league members and only rebuilds the lineup, rotation and bullpen roles. No call-ups from the farm
- All squads auto-builds and confirms the major-league roster, then drafts a farm roster proposal. Apply the farm side with Confirm. If some players in the major-league proposal could not be applied, it stays on the majors and shows why
Change a primary position from the player screen
- For hitters on your club, click a position on the fielding chart on the player screen to change the primary position. Only positions the player can play are available
- Positions already set in the batting order stay as they are. Auto Roster prefers the new primary position
Injury swaps: auto or manual

- Under Settings, Game Rules, Auto Roster Management, we added "Auto-Swap Injured Players". It is the same option as in the new-game setup, now switchable mid-season
- With it set to manual, a serious injury no longer swaps players between your majors and farm automatically. With auto, the injured player is sent down and replaced as before
Development contract rules tidied up

- Development contracts now expire after three seasons, and you decide at contract renewal whether to re-sign. The list shows an expiring badge and the negotiation panel explains it
- Re-signed players, and players who were once on the main roster and returned to development, renew one season at a time. Players who joined in July or later do not count that year as their first
- When a development player cannot be registered to the main roster, the game now shows the reason (registration deadline, the 70-player limit, and so on). A successful registration is recorded in the player's history
Draft prospects with overseas ambitions
- After an interview, a prospect's wish text may end with "also eyeing overseas". These prospects may leave for an overseas league after turning pro
- We adjusted how many prospects get this ambition so it no longer swings wildly from year to year
Bundled tool: AbilityEstimator 2.0
- The bundled AbilityEstimator, which builds players from stat sources, has been rebuilt. It supports the current CSV columns: gender, trajectory, Ball IQ, life, sharpness, heaviness, recovery, two-way, per-pitch ratings and more
- Paste a stat table with headers, read it, and use "Estimate from selected stats" to compute ratings and projected stats. You can pin values such as trajectory, speed, defense or sharpness and let it estimate the rest
- "Pick from existing CSV" loads an existing player and writes just that player to a separate file. It keeps the column order of the source CSV and appends any missing current columns. The old fixed-position 76-column paste is gone
- Added saving alternatives, auto-saved drafts, and labels showing where each value came from (source, estimate, manual, placeholder). Place it next to the game and it uses the players in the neighboring Data folder as the baseline for projections
Bug fixes
- Fixed the career table showing every age one year too young. The amateur-year age and the first pro year were showing the same age
- Fixed auto progression swapping players between the majors and farm on a serious injury even when the setting was manual
Thank you as always for the reports and requests.
