Overview #1 — Spells

How Spells Work

Spells in our game must be activated with your own voice, using a microphone or third-party applications that play audio.

Proximity Chat

An active microphone is required to cast a spell — meaning any nearby player can hear you!

Spatial Audio

Keep your location in mind when casting spells, because thanks to the spatial audio system, players behind a wall or in an adjacent room are unlikely to hear you.

Where to Find Spells?

Every player starts with a spellbook containing a basic set of spells. But the rarest and most powerful spells are scattered across the map — in the form of scrolls.

Almost every spell requires a target — this can be an object on the map or another player. Click on the target with your mouse, and you'll have a few seconds (from 5 to 30) to say the spell out loud.

Spell List

The following set of spells is currently implemented:

"Favor"

Snatches an item directly from the hands of the chosen player. Useful when the tool or key item you need ended up with the wrong person — or someone you don't trust.

"Farewell"

Teleports the target to the farthest point on the map. Works on any player — including the caster themselves. A great way to make an emergency escape from a threat or get rid of a pursuer.

"Mirror Haze"

Mirrors the target's screen — controls become reversed. Effective in a confrontation: while your opponent tries to figure out which way is left and which is right, you gain the upper hand. Or a chance to slip away.

"Notification"

Highlights the caster for all players on the map and plays an audio alert to make sure everyone takes notice. Use it to gather players in one place, warn of an approaching threat, or simply let everyone know: "I'm here, and I need help".

"Veils of Deception"

Materializes a wall at a chosen location, blocking path. Can be used as a trap, to slow down a pursuer, or to protect a passage.

"Exit Spell"

Opens the exit from the stage. The escape spell cannot simply be found — it must be assembled piece by piece. This is where the entire team of peaceful players works together — trade the fragments you've found and group up so that as many of you as possible make it out alive.

Voice Spells

A whole group of spells that affect the voice of the chosen player:

  • Full Mute — the target loses the ability to speak. Completely. No communication, no spells.

  • Ghost Voice — other players cannot hear the target, but voice interaction with the game continues to work. The victim can cast spells but cannot explain themselves to the team. Useful to cast on yourself so no one hears you reciting a spell.

  • Chipmunk Voice — the target's voice becomes an unrecognizable squeak. Technically they can still talk — but convincing anyone of anything will be significantly harder.

🗒️ Voice recognition is currently available in English and Russian only, but if we notice activity from other regions, we won't keep you waiting long!

👉 Don't forget to share your thoughts and suggest ideas — we listen to everyone. You can reach us directly and chat in our Discord community.
