This update focuses on making it quicker and smoother to move through a Life, particularly when using Life Pace and Smart Time Advance.
There have also been a wide range of improvements across existing LIVORA systems, with more attention given to how different parts of a Life connect, how information is presented and how long-running Lives continue to develop.
Moving through weeks and months should now feel much less restrictive.
Life Pace and Smart Time have been improved so routine parts of Life can continue without constantly stopping the player.
Everyday work, ordinary messages, routine social moments and other background parts of Life should be less likely to interrupt longer time advances unnecessarily.
Important decisions are still kept in your hands.
LIVORA will continue to stop when something genuinely needs your attention, such as an important Career opportunity, a serious Health decision, a major relationship change or another decision that should not be made automatically.
The aim is to make it easier to move through years of a Life without losing the choices that actually matter.
A lot of work has also gone into improving existing parts of LIVORA.
This includes further refinements across areas such as:
Education and Student Life
Work and Career
Business and Self-Employment
Money and household finances
HOME, housing and property
Relationships and family
Driving and vehicle ownership
Pets
Community and everyday Life
Digital Life
Health and wellbeing
Politics
Legal and Justice systems
Countries, visas and Life abroad
Reports, Memories and Life history
Later Life, estates and generations
These changes are not about turning each feature into a separate part of the game.
The aim is for them to work more naturally as parts of the same Life, with your circumstances, history and previous decisions continuing to matter as the years pass.
More attention has also been given to how a Life holds together over time.
Formative Years should continue more naturally into adulthood, with family, Education and the circumstances of your early Life remaining connected to the person you become.
Long-running Adult Lives have also received further improvements around persistence, history and progression.
At the other end of a Life, Later Life, estates, inheritance and continuing as an eligible adult child remain part of the same family story rather than feeling like an unrelated restart.
LIVORA's localisation work has continued alongside these changes, with improvements across the game's supported languages and further work to make translated text fit naturally throughout the interface.
There have also been smaller presentation and usability improvements across a number of screens and modals.
You do not need to start a new Life to benefit from these improvements.
Existing saves continue to be supported, and where newer systems require additional information, LIVORA continues to handle older saves conservatively rather than inventing history that never happened.
