**🗺️ Maps**
• **Paint an area on a map and that area IS the settlement** — drawn at the size you painted it, filling the ground you gave it
• **City ground only appears where people actually live.** A place with the population toggle off is not a settlement and gets no sprawl at all
• **A painted district's city fills the shape you painted**, instead of a circle guessed from its rank — and painted places no longer carry a stray dot
• **A painted place stays where you painted it.** It used to shift by half its own width every time the campaign loaded, and again on every redraw
• **A town's sprawl keeps to its own land** and stays off open water
• **Terrain is drawn at real size.** A hill is a hill whether you're looking at a county or a continent, and zooming right in shows grass and reeds on the ground
• **Rivers and coastlines are drawn whole**, edge to edge
• **The ground tool fills what you drag** — grass, sand, city ground, floors, lava, cliffs, dunes, jungle and every off-world surface
• **Sliders for how mountainous and how wet a world is**
• **More to find out in the wild** — kill sites, earthworks, weir crossings, water holes, vent fields and fens
**🛣️ Roads and bridges**
• **Roads are built to your world's own standard** — transit lines, divided highways, imperial roads or cobbled lanes, whatever the setting builds
• **Draw a bridge and the roads come to meet it**, routed round the water and joined to the network, the moment you finish the stroke
• **Highways run settlement to settlement**, instead of spiking off at angles into empty ground
• **Every road goes somewhere.** The generator will shorten a road that arrives nowhere, but it will never delete one
**🧹 The Auditor**
• **Repairs maps drawn by older builds** — restores missing terrain and clears anything left standing on water
• **Fixes wallets in currencies your world doesn't recognise**, in one click and without repricing anything
• **Puts painted regions back where they were painted**, and unfreezes a caravan stuck at a fixed pace
• Every one-click fix is checked to have actually landed before it reports success
**⚡ Speed**
• **A time skip runs about three times faster**, loading a campaign is around 65% shorter, and saves no longer grow on every write
**🎯 Rules and people**
• **The XP settings save what you type**, and a character at full XP levels up
• **An archetype written with a plain number keeps that number.** Opening the leveling panel used to quietly replace it with the world default — and a flat number is allowed in those boxes now
• **The officer you appoint is the officer whose stats do the work**
• **Armies describe themselves**, and vassal houses sit in the hierarchy rather than the officer list
• **Fleets keep to the medium they were built for**, and travellers walk around obstacles instead of through them
**🏛️ Council and projects**
• **A council seat finally pays for itself** — the member you appoint lifts that office's work
• **A project shows its real speed at once**, instead of a guess until the next hour ticks
• **"Leave it to the best suited" actually appoints someone**, or says plainly that nobody can
• **The kind of project decides whose ability counts** — cunning for spying, brawn for a muster, charm for a trade
• **An officer is worth their ability halved**, doubled again for the council member who owns that office
• **The Research tab shows your real research power**, and names who is providing it
**🔧 Quality of life**
• **Start Over really starts over** — the map list, the scale ladder and your social classes all go with it, instead of carrying across from the campaign you wiped
• **Places you've just drawn are unticked automatically**, so the next batch can't redraw them by accident
• The load menu lists campaigns only, blueprints are stored once, and duplicate wiki entries are gone
• **The abort button actually stops the turn** — it never reached the engine before
• **Your exported packages are one click away.** The mod manager's Import tab lists what is already in your exports folder so you can install one by name, and both tabs have a button that opens that folder on your computer
• **Exporting a package works on Linux and Mac.** It was looking for a Windows-only folder and failing with no explanation
• **The AI's note limit is yours alone** — 500 words means 500 words of notes
• **And those notes record the turn that happened**, not background world traffic
